Back on Hanoi for our last day in Northern Thailand

Our last day on the boat. We pottered around the islands for a few hours and headed back to the harbour and our good byes to Halong Bay.

Just to prove we were really on the boat and together.

It was really sad saying goodbye to our new friends, even though we had only met two days ago.

A long trek back to Hanoi, four hours again, but with good company.

We arrived back to the Glance Hotel for the third time, to a great welcome.

And yes it is raining in Hanoi.

We had a fairly short walk to the night market, had some dinner and repaired back to the room.

This time they had given us a room at the top of the hotel with a terrace. Would have been great in good weather.

We are off south tomorrow.
